The UFC Women’s Bantamweight Division: A History of Champions and Challengers

The UFC Women’s Bantamweight Division is one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC. It is home to some of the best female fighters in the world, including Amanda Nunes, Julianna Pena, and Raquel Pennington.

The division was founded in 2012 when the UFC acquired Strikeforce and brought in their women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey. Rousey quickly became a star, and she dominated the division for several years. She defended her title six times before losing to Holly Holm in 2015.
