Conor McGregor has expressed his interest in a potential mega-fight between tech moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, but with a condition – it must take place under the banner of the UFC. The idea of a fight between Musk and Zuckerberg has gained attention in recent weeks, with both billionaires indicating their seriousness about stepping into the MMA cage. UFC President Dana White has been in contact with both parties to discuss the possibility.

McGregor, a former two-weight world champion, shared his thoughts on the fantasy fight during an interview. He expressed his interest in the event but insisted that it should be organized under the UFC brand. However, McGregor clarified that he is solely focused on his upcoming fight against Michael Chandler and would not be involved in coaching Musk or Zuckerberg.

Despite his initial stance, McGregor later backtracked and stated that he would be willing to work with Musk if the Tesla CEO desired it. He expressed excitement about the potential fight and emphasized that he hopes it actually comes to fruition.

Dana White, the UFC president, dismissed any notion that the Musk vs. Zuckerberg fight would be a mere gimmick. He emphasized that this matchup is different from previous instances where MMA fighters crossed over to boxing and faced defeat. According to White, this fight involves two of the most powerful and richest individuals in the world, making it a unique and highly anticipated event.

While McGregor is currently expected to face Chandler at UFC 296 on December 16, the fight has not been officially confirmed. The Irish fighter’s return could potentially be delayed until the first quarter of the following year, as he has yet to re-enter the USADA testing pool and complete the mandatory six months of drug testing required before his comeback.
