Robbie Lawler vs Tyron Woodley Pre Fight Preview
This weekend sees UFC welterweight champion ‘Ruthless’ Robbie Lawler. Defends his welterweight title for the third time in the main event at UFC 201. Where he faces fellow ATT fighter Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley. Also in the co-main event, ‘Thug’ Rose Namajunas and Karolina Kowalkiewicz, square off with the hopes of working their way closer to a title shot.
It is a stacked card with some of the best talents on the roster laying it all one the line. and Lawler, who has been at the very top of the sport for many years. Will once again be looking to defend his belt against a surging Tyron Woodley. For a fighter who has been around the sport for so long, its quite incredible to see Robbie being the champion at this stage in his career.
And also on the card is fast rising Rose Namajunas, who is seeking to stake her claim to a strawweight title shot. But in her way is polish fighter Karolina Kowalkiewicz, who is determined to show she is also top drawer. The winner of this fight could well be looking at a title fight against the reigning strawweight queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Plenty to be decided at UFC 201 as the main event fighters strive for gold.
