‘Borrachinha’ Paulo Costa || Breakdown • Skill Study
Paulo Henrique Costa, formerly known as Paulo Borrachinha (which means little rubber band, his older brother was known as the rubber band man), is a Brazilian mixed martial artist currently competing in the Middleweight division of the UFC.
Also called “The Eraser” for his finishing abilities, is only 26 years old with an 11-0 professional record in MMA. What’s so incredible and maybe terrifying is that all of his wins were finishes, 9 in the first round and two in the second (1 submission as well) including a recent decimation of former Welterweight champion Johny Hendricks.
The future looks bright for Costa and I see him being a breakout star in 2018, so let’s take a little tour de force of the skill set of ‘The Eraser’.
