Paulie Malignaggi Talks Conor McGregor
Paulie Malignaggi talking about his time at the Conor McGregor camp, as he prepares to take on Floyd Mayweather. Paulie sings like a canary and gives his take on what it was like and how he was treated. Seems like he and Conor won’t be friends anytime soon after this whole thing is over. Malignaggi went into the Mayweather vs McGregor camp as a sparring partner. However, things did not play out as he hoped and soon began to fall apart. One of the main reasons for this was that Pauli has not been too kind in his comments about McGregor and how he would fare in the boxing ring against Floyd Mayweather.
Conor McGregor then took it upon himself to invite Paulie to the camp so he could get his opportunity to spar. And it wasn’t too long before some footage of Paulie being downed by a McGregor punch was leaked to the media. Paulie soon left the camp under a dark cloud and subsequently went on a very public rant against the Irishman.
The public spat rolled on for many weeks prior to the fight as the name of Paulie Malignaggi became very closely associated with that of McGregor. After numerous television appearances, a potential fight between the two was bandied about but to no avail. It was not yet his time to get some of the McGregor pie. But never say never as the Irishman has hinted at once again donning boxing gloves to try his luck against yet another legend in the fight game.
