Nate Diaz & Brother Nick Get Pulled Over

Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz get pulled over by Steven Seagal

In the build-up, to UFC 196 Nate Diaz is going to be seen across our screens. As the UFC build up the new main event when he faces Conor McGregor. Nick and Nate Diaz get pulled over on their way to the UFC 158 press conference. The officer in question bears a striking resemblance to none other than Sensai Steven Seagal.

Nate Diaz by the Numbers

Nate Diaz referred to as Nathan on his birth certificate was born 16/04/85. Born in California USA, Diaz lives in Stockton and is the brother of Nick Diaz. Former Strikeforce welterweight champion and UFC fighter. Nate fights for the Ultimate Fighting Championship and has the most number of bonuses in the organisation’s history. Including knockout of the night, the performance of the night, submission of the night and fight of the night.

Despite his string of bonuses within the organisation. Nate hasn’t managed to get himself into a position to challenge for the lightweight title. Returning from an extended time away from the sport. it is anyone’s guess how he will look inside the octagon against Conor McGregor who has been on a tear.

If anything Diaz will have the advantage in pure size over the Irishman. Diaz who normally competes at lightweight has accepted this fight at welterweight. After McGregor, himself opted to fight two divisions above where he reigns as the featherweight champion.

Many pundits and fighters alike have commented that it may very well be too much of a jump for McGregor, normally competing at 145lbs. But as per usual the Dubliner is confident in his skills and preparation and says he won’t have any issues dealing with the higher weight class.

All will be known when the two face off inside the octagon at UFC 196 in the coming weeks.
