Nate Diaz Honest Strategy to Fight Against Conor McGregor at UFC 196

Nate Diaz Plan To Beat Conor MCGregor

He may not be known as the most eloquent of talkers in the ranks of the UFC. But current welterweight (normally lightweight) fighter Nate Diaz is nearly always guaranteed to give no-nonsense answers to questions. A trait which has got the Stockton California native in plenty of hot water throughout his long career in mixed martial arts.

But regardless of what people may think of him, Diaz is amongst the elite fighters in the world and actually holds the UFC record for performance-related bonuses. Proving he is amongst the very best in the business.

Here he gives his off the cuff thoughts on what his game plan is when he faces Conor McGregor at UFC 196. A fight in which the Dubliner was originally slated to face Rafael Dos Anjos who was subsequently injured during training, breaking his foot only a few out from the fight.

Diaz stepped in on short notice for what is rumoured to be the biggest payday of his career. In this unscheduled interview, he gives his thoughts on what will go down when the two meet inside the cage at the MGM Las Vegas. In typical Diaz style, he doesn’t mince his words, keeping it plain and simple for the layman.

He has promised to put on a show and prove he is in fact amongst the elite of the sport, even a welterweight. A move which may possibly see him going head to head with some other big names in the 170 lb division should he in fact win. All the action goes down in front of a sold-out Las Vegas crowd which is sure to have its fair share of Irish supporters, March 5th 2016.
