Flyweights Muhammad Mokaev and Alex Perez are set to face each other on the UFC’s debut card in Saudi Arabia on March 2. Muhammad Mokaev, a 23-year-old Dagestani fighter fighting out of England, is considered one of the rising stars in the UFC. He holds an undefeated record of 5-0 in the promotion, with a recent victory over Tim Elliott.
Alex Perez, a veteran in the flyweight division, aims to bounce back after facing challenges, including cancellations and medical issues that kept him out of action since July 2022. Perez has dropped two fights in a row, including a title fight loss to Deiveson Figueiredo in 2020.
This fight will be part of the UFC’s expansion into the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia hosting its first UFC event.
