This is something which has plagued the sport since it’s inception. And has taken many different forms along the way. It is now the hope of the UFC and wider MMA community, that the new measures will be able to weed out the cheaters.
However, as the science continues to improve and fighters find all new ways in which to hide their cheating. It is a constant cat and mouse game to find out who is not playing by the rules. As PED testing will continue to evolve, so too will the ability of athletes to hide their crimes.
