Joe Rogan And Jamie Fox On Mayweather vs McGregor
UFC Colour commentator and comedian Joe Rogan is joined by actor, comedian, singer Jamie Foxx. The guys end up discussing the upcoming Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match, which takes place August 26th. Joe Rogan believes that McGregor will have to fight dirty in order to cause Mayweather some problems. However, Jamie Foxx, who is a very good friend Floyd Mayweather, thinks that he is far too smart to let McGregor beat him at his own game, something he has been doing for almost his entire life.
What both guys do agree on is that the fight is going to be absolutely massive. And it’s something which they’re both excited to see play out. Jamie says that he’s going to be there and is, in fact, going to get there early so that he gets a good seat.
Joe, however, is working that same night doing a comedy gig and so won’t be able to attend. He says that he’s going to do everything in his power to avoid hearing who won before he watches it on playback. He still believes that there may be some people in the audience for his comedy gig that night who may be watching it on their phones. So he’s hoping they will be nice enough to not tell him who wins. Yeah, good luck with that Joe.
It’s a massive fight which has fans from both sports who are going to be tuning in. With the combat sports community split but leaning toward Floyd. It’s anyone’s guess how the fight will play out. But “one thing we do know” as Floyd would say. It is going to break all kinds of records. And put a whole lot of cash in both men’s pockets.
“One thing we do know.”
As Floyd would say. It is going to break all kinds of records and put a whole lot of cash in both men’s pockets. This excerpt was taken from the Joe Rogan podcast – JRE 990.
