Geoff Neal Vs.  Mike Perry fought at UFC 245 . The fight was a welterweight bout. on December 14, 2019.  Neal won the fight by TKO in the first round.

Neal came into the fight as the No.14 ranked welterweight in the UFC. He had won his previous four fights, including a unanimous decision victory over Gunnar Nelson in his most recent fight. Perry was ranked No.11 at welterweight. He had won his previous two fights, including a knockout victory over Jake Ellenberger in his most recent fight.

The fight started off with both fighters feeling each other out. Neal landed a few good punches early on, but Perry was able to weather the storm. However, in the latter half of the round, Neal started to take control. He landed a series of punches and kicks that hurt Perry. Perry tried to fight back, but Neal was too much for him. In the final minute of the round, Neal landed a series of punches that knocked Perry out.

The win for Neal was a major upset. He had never been ranked higher than No.14 in the UFC before, and he was facing a much more experienced opponent in Perry. However, Neal showed that he was a top-level welterweight with his performance in this fight.

Perry has since left the UFC and is now fighting in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. He most recently knocked out Luke Rockhold at BKFC 41 in February 2023
