Drake is continuing his streak of placing massive bets, this time backing YouTube celebrity Logan Paul to win his exhibition boxing match against jiu-jitsu veteran Dillon Danis at Misfits Boxing’s Prime Card in Manchester, England. Drake has placed an $850,000 bet on Paul to win by stoppage.
The match between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis is the co-main event, just under the KSI vs. Tommy Fury bout. Drake expressed his confidence in Paul’s victory, stating on Instagram, “Never bet against personal vendetta and settling scores.”
Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, responded to Drake’s bet by saying, “Dillon all day.” The match has taken on a personal dimension, as Danis had been attacking Paul’s girlfriend in the weeks leading up to the event.
Dillon Danis, who is 0-0 in boxing, hasn’t fought since June 2019 when he improved his MMA record to 2-0 for Bellator. Logan Paul, who holds a 0-1 record as a professional boxer, lost to KSI but notably faced boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition bout that went the distance in June 2021.
