Daniel Cormier Predicting Jon Jones Outcome
Looking up a few body language cues, and the licking of the lips may indicate nervousness from say. Hiding from something especially for a nervous personality type… Maybe that was the case in this instance when Daniel Cormier accused him of being on steroids… He also appeared to behave defensively to the accusation… But none the less, the entire fight actually surprised me.
Even from Jon Jones first few punches which I highlighted in a previous video. He generated a level of power I’ve never seen from him nor thought he was capable of… And when the kick came… KO’ing Cormier somehow, almost like magic… Anthony “Rumble” Johnson who’s physically built. With a much higher capacity for explosiveness couldn’t even when connecting clean. And no one else has ever been able to vs Daniel… I was truly in shock and didn’t think John would risk his career again, especially with the sentiment he gave on Joe Rogan’s podcast but man…
How Wrong Was I…
I was wrong. He was ripped to shreds yet talked about eating pancakes, and the size difference vs Daniel… He looked like a giant vs him, it was terrifying just watching him stand there at times… If a cerebral fighter like John took steroids for Daniel Cormier, I know he thought it through. And with his self-admitted nervous personality, he thought long and hard about it, coming to the conclusion that he could not beat Daniel without steroids…
He could not beat Daniel without cheating, thus he knew he could not beat Daniel… This is heartbreaking… Especially considering how amazing Daniel looked. He looked confident, calm, almost supreme during the staredowns. And during the fight, before Jon set up the head kick, he looked amazing. He was landing big shots, overall he was winning…
This truly is tragic… Daniel Cormier looking the best I’ve ever seen him, all the hatred he’s received throughout his career. Being resilient regardless of it… An entertaining warrior who never ran but fought from beginning till end… Yet moral and straight edge didn’t start talking trash until he realized he might as well roll with all the hate the crowd gave him. Indicating not just his resilience, but adaptiveness… For me, it was weird as to how anyone could ever hate him which I had highlighted many times in previous videos…
Hatin Him Literally Made no Sense…
He was a good human being who competed with every fibre of what he had to represent his daughter who had died… Hating him literally never made any sense to me, and now, knowing this and watching him lose the way he did. Vs a man who’s never shown a capacity to generate that level of power… You won this fight. Maybe Jon could’ve figured out another way. But by taking steroids, he gave up before the fight had even begun… Daniel is a thoroughbred warrior and I’m certain we’ll see him again soon.
