Conor McGregor, the former UFC two-division champion, has announced the birth of his fourth child and third son, named Mack McGregor. McGregor shared the news on Monday, revealing the name of his new baby boy. Mack joins Conor Jr., Croia, and Rian as part of McGregor’s growing family with his long-time partner and fiancée Dee Devlin.
While McGregor has been tentatively linked to a UFC return bout against Michael Chandler, his official comeback timeline is still uncertain. McGregor mentioned in late October that the UFC was targeting April 2024 for his return, expressing frustration about his long layoff since the loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. However, McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, recently stated that the promotion has delayed McGregor’s return to a targeted bout in the summertime.
McGregor re-entered the UFC’s drug-testing pool with USADA on October 8, making him eligible to compete again on April 8, 2024, according to USADA rules. McGregor has fought in MMA only four times since capturing the UFC lightweight title in 2016, with notable wins and losses in his recent career.
