Conor McGregor shipping up to Boston
Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor is on a mission to take over and wipe out the whole division. On January 18th of 2015, he will get exactly that opportunity to move one step closer. See what sets this Irishman apart from the rest of the featherweight division as McGregor attempts to move one step closer to the title.
He along with a whole swathe of Irish support will be shipping up to Boston in just over a week, looking to put away veteran German fighter Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 59.
At this point, no one can deny that McGregor has become one of the biggest draws in the sport. And as his star rises, so does his profile and his ranking in the UFC. Right now he sits just off the very top of the division after his fifth fight with the Ultimate Fighting Championships.
For the man from SBG, he now believes this is his time in the sport and fighters such as the champion Jose Aldo Junior are past their prime. No longer interested in the fight game and looking for a way out.
As he steps in the fight Siver, Conor McGregor does believe that the stars are aligning and it won’t be long before he is officially crowned the featherweight champion of the UFC. But first things first as he faces a tough test in Dennis Siver, who McGregor says is a steroid midget.
As per usual Conor had some choice words for his opponent, the underdog before they face off at the TD Garden in Boston Massachusetts on January 18th 2015. If McGregor can beat Siver on the night, few can deny his title contention dream. and with the current champion Jose Aldo waiting in the wing for his next challenge. It may very well be the Irishman who fills the slot.
