Conor McGregor talks With ESPN Before Jose Aldo Fight
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor showed up for his ESPN Interview sporting a brand new cut on his nose. When all is said and done it’s really not that bad. It’s more a case of that he was lucky, as it could have been a lot worse. We all know how the local commissions have acted in the past, stopping fights for all manner of reasons. The UFC have dodged a bullet with that one, as it could have been much worse.
With his fight against Dennis Siver just around the corner, the last thing either McGregor or the UFC needed was for another fight to fall through. But besides that Conor appears to be in good spirits before his next upcoming fight. A fight against someone who poses a risk, yet the SBG man still took it rather than waiting around. He explains his reasoning for wanting to compete rather than sit around and wait for his title shot.
And of course, at the top of his agenda is a lucrative title fight against Jose Aldo Junior somewhere down the line. For McGregor, the Siver fight is very much jus ta stepping stone to a face-off against the undisputed champion. But he is not overlooking the German who himself can pose some problems. And should he overcome Dennis on January 18th in Boston, then surely he will be looking at his next fight is for the title.
