Bruce Buffer Interview on OFT
We sat down to speak with “The Voice of the Octagon” Bruce Buffer for an Obviously Fight Talk Interview Special. We chat about all things MMA and Bruce Buffer, from his 20+ year journey in the UFC to his family background in martial arts to his first-hand account of the evolution of the UFC, including the rise of Conor McGregor.
We discuss Bruce’s roots in martial arts, coming from a family deeply rooted in combat sports (including his brother – the legendary Michael Buffer). We also chat about his journey in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, from the ‘Dark Ages’, to The Ultimate Fighter 1, to the modern-day.
Bruce also gives his take on the Conor McGregor phenomenon – and predicts what McGregor’s next move will be. Other things discussed are John McCarthy’s career-change, his love of Irish MMA fans, Guinness and Irish whiskey, and more.
